How to Fix
⚠️Important Understanding
Running AI directly in your browser is a very new technology that's still fast evolving.
• Performance depends entirely on your device's processing power and graphics capabilities
• Older hardware or outdated browsers may experience significantly slower speeds or incompatibility
• Browsers like Firefox and Safari have still NOT (08/2025) fully implemented the latest WebGPU standards, which are crucial for in-browser AI processing.
• Some devices may lack AI acceleration support entirely (particularly Intel-based Macbooks, despite their strong performance in other areas)
Note: Upgrading to Premium plans won't solve this problem - performance is limited by your device's hardware, not subscription level. However, some premium models may run faster than basic models.
📊 Performance Expectations
🚀 Fast Devices
- • Modern laptops/desktops
- • Dedicated graphics cards
- • 16GB+ RAM
- • Latest browser versions
⚡ Moderate Devices
- • Mid-range laptops
- • Integrated graphics
- • 8-16GB RAM
- • Recent browser versions
🐌 Limited Devices
- • Older computers (before 2020)
- • Basic integrated graphics
- • Less than 8GB RAM
- • Outdated browsers
🚀 Quick Performance Optimizations
Update Your Browser
Use the latest version of a modern browser:
✅ Recommended: Google Chrome
- • Best WebGPU support for AI acceleration
- • Fastest performance for in-browser AI
- • Regular updates with AI optimizations
Also supported:
- • Microsoft Edge (latest version)
- • Firefox (141+ for windows, Beta)
- • Safari (26+, Beta)
Choose the Right Model
Select the model that matches your device capabilities:
🔥 Basic / Large Models (WebGPU)
- • Uses your graphics card (GPU)
- • Much faster performance
- • Requires WebGPU support
- • Best for newer devices
⚡ Lite Model (WASM/CPU)
- • Uses your processor (CPU)
- • Slower but more compatible
- • Works on older browsers / devices
- • Smaller models / less accurate
Enable WebGPU
WebGPU provides GPU acceleration for much faster AI processing:
Chrome/Edge Instructions:
- Type
chrome://flags
in address bar - Search for "WebGPU"
- Set all "WebGPU" related flags to Enabled
- Restart your browser
If WebGPU isn't available, the system will automatically use the Lite Model (CPU) instead.

Clear Browser Cache
If AI generation time is unreasonably long, clearing your browser cache can help resolve performance issues:
Chrome/Edge Instructions:
- Press
Ctrl+Shift+Delete
(Windows) orCmd+Shift+Delete
(Mac) - Select "All time" for time range
- Check "Cached images and files"
- Click "Clear data" or "Delete"
Other browsers:
- • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+Delete → Check "Cache"
- • Safari: Develop menu → Empty Caches
Optimize Browser Performance
- • Close unnecessary browser tabs and applications
- • Disable browser extensions you don't need
- • Ensure sufficient RAM is available (4GB+ recommended)
- • Restart your browser after making changes
💡 Important Limitations
🔧 No Universal Fix
Running AI models in browsers depends entirely on your device's processing power. There's no software fix if your hardware isn't capable of handling the computational requirements.
🆕 Cutting-Edge Technology
Browser-based AI is still emerging technology. Performance varies significantly between devices, and some older systems may not support it at all.
🔄 Alternative Options
If your device struggles with in-browser AI, consider using cloud-based AI services or upgrading to a more powerful device for better performance.
